This was the inspiration for this look. The look in the magazine was done with the NARS Caravaggio duo. I don't have that one so I just used Bare Escentuals.

Becky,
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog from your youtube Samantha Smoky Eye tutorial (and yes, thanks to you, I did buy the kit and have ordered several more colors of Buxom's Smoky Eye Sticks!). I have been using BE for a few months, and have stuck to using eye color combinations from kits. Your artistic, expert application and color choices have inspired me to put together my own combinations (this was a big step!), as as you can imagine, this makes my BE collection much more versatile! Thanks for taking the time to blog and share your creativity and beauty! I look forward to each of your new and different looks! Susan
Thanks so much Susan! If you have any colour requests please feel free to ask. What colour buxom sticks did you get? I have the purple one on the way.
ReplyDeleteI have blue and green...purple was sold out (but was in stock the next day, LOL!) on the way. Those smoky eye sticks and Buxom's lashliner are the only things that don't fade and have minimal transfer (I have Asian hooded eyes) for me....
ReplyDeleteWhen you wear warm vs cool tones, do you have to do anything different to make it work for you?
I really want the green one.
ReplyDeleteWhen I wear warm tones I usually use a little faux tan or bronzer on my face. I think I have a neutral skin tone that leans a little cool in winter.
