I am going to try to do a look that features each day of the week. I doubt I will do them in order and I'm sure I will do other looks before I wear all seven but I will label the posts in the same way for each day. I'll do swatches and comparisons tomorrow.
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radince all over,
Iced under brow and inner corner,
Monday foiled lash to crease,
Phobe in crease and outer corner the edges blended out with Iced,
Phobe dry alone lower lash line,
Big and Bright Indigo top and bottom,
Buxom mascara with Flawless definition Volumizing over it, then curled.
CHEEKS: Chuckle blush
LIPS: Kanani Buxom
I've only worn Buxom Stay There in Cocker Spaniel once before this and when I did I thought it looked weird. I'm glad I tried it again. In this look I used it all over in a thin layer and it actually looked very nice. I think last time I wore it I put on too thick a layer and that is what made it look weird.
I also just got smoke so this is my first time wearing it. It is a matte taupe/grey. It looks a little more brown than grey when you blend it out. It is a good colour for creating shadow.
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radince all over,
Buxom Stay There Cocker Spaniel lash to brow,
Smoke lash into crease outer 2/3ish,
High Shine Vapor along lash line 1/2 way and in outer corner,
Cupcake lash to crese very lightly on inner 1/3ish,
Big and Bright liner in Indigo,
Rimmel Mascara.
CHEEKS: Miracle blush
LIPS: Bombay Buxom
I really can't get over how good all the Bare Escentuals blushes have been in almost all the kits in the last 8 or so months. Chuckle is a really pretty, natural looking pink blush that brightens up your face instantly. It is only one of all the awesome things in this installment of the Face Fashion kit. I know that when a kit comes out the first thing people want to know is how the eye shadows compare to colours that are already out there, so I did comparison swatches for both colours.
Happy is a blue leaning green that is most similar to Siren. It is lighter in colour and a different texture than siren. I like it. I love colours in this family so I might be a bit biased.
Wowza couldn't have a better name. It is a mid-tone true purple with some sparkle. It is darker and more intense than vivid.
Big and Bright liner in Indigo. This is a purple leaning blue. I really like the colour of this liner. I am really warming up to the Big and Bright liners now that I have used them for a while. I smooth out the line with the liner brush from Keling. I also use the brush to shape the point of the liner and that gives me the look I want. I think that these liners really do brighten your eyes--I love to use the Inense black liner when I do a smoky eye because my eyes look so bright. That is perhaps the main reason I am warming up to these liners.
Funnel Cake lip gloss is a very natural looking pink. Pretty and not too sheer.
