Two Sweet Sirens

Let me start by saying that some of the colour combinations in recent BE kits have been questionable. I think the Sweet Siren kit falls into that category. While the suggested look is not bad when I look at it I just think there is something off about it that I can't quite put my finger on. So I did the look as suggested on the tip card, more or less, and then today I did another look with Siren that I think looks better. In my look I wanted to use purple because I don't think that is what is wrong with the BE combo. Maybe Soft gray is too light or too plum--I don't know but it doesn't look quite right with Siren. I think Soft gray is pretty and it will look really nice with other colours. I like all the components of the Sweet Siren kit, just not together. On the forums there has been discussion about what colour Siren is most like. Many people said it was alot like mint so I swatched it next to mint and a few other similar colours. I think of the ones I swatched, Siren is a slightly lighter and slightly less sparkly version of Faith. Siren has a sheen but it is not a gold sheen.

Here is the look from the tip card:

EYES:
TFSI, wr/cr,
Au Natural lash to brow,
Siren lash to crease,
Soft Gray in crease and wet lined on top,
Flawless mascara.

CHEEKS: Irresistable blush
LIPS: Cranberry Sorbet

This is my look:

EYES:
TFSI, wr/cr,
Siren lash to brow,
Girl Friend Tina lash to crease outer 1/3ish,
Phobe in crease,
Siren lash to crease outer 2/3 and blended over GF Tina,
Ell-if-I-know wet lined on top,
Flawless mascara.

CHEEKS: Irresistable blush
LIPS: Weable Rose Lip liner with 7 Layer cake gloss over it

I thought I'd add one Soft Gray look too:
EYES: TFSI, wr/cr,
Cherish under brow,
Soft Gray foiled lash to crease on outer 2/3 and blended with some dry soft gray in the crease,
HS Charisma lash to crease inner 2/3ish,
Soft Gray wet lined on top,
Flawless mascara.
CHEEKS: Optimist blush
LIPS: Jelly Roll gloss
