I think this is the kind of look that I do when I want to do something that I know will look good. I really love Irresistible blush and Las Vegas together--they were made for each other.
EYES: Primetime for eyes, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radaince all over, Spellbound under brow, Magnifique lash to crease on outer 1/2ish then in and above crease, Spellbound to blend out the edges of Mafnifique, 1960s lash to crease on inner 1/2ish, Big and Bright liner in Intense black top and bottom, Buxom mascara. CHEEKS: Irresistible blush LIPS: Las Vegas buxom
Fog is my new favorite grey! When I think of a sexy smoky eye this is the sort of look I have in mind. I think the combination of Fog with the Big and Bright eye liner looks really sultry and makes my eyes look shiny. I don't often wear a look more than once (I have too many colours!!) but I think I will be wearing this again.
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radince all over, Iced under brow and inner corner, Fog lash into and above crease, Midnight Diamond in outer corner and into crease part way, Big and Bright eye liner in intense black, Rimmel mascara.
So today I did a video with black lab and extreme silver. I used the same method with the teal, green and gold looks I did last week.
I made a swatch of Black Lab and put a bunch of different colours over it. Hopefully that will give you some more ideas for holiday looks.
I used the Sephora glitter paddle with the extreme silver and I have to say that I am pleased with how it worked. The silver ended up looking really good and I was able to distribute it evenly over my lid. I did however have some fall out but not nearly as much as with a regular brush.
Swatches: I think 1990's, King and Congo would look really great.
EYES:
PTFE, wr/cr, Garland under brow, Buxom Stay There in black lab lash blended into crease and winged out, Extreme Silver lash to crease, Tarte inner rim liner top and bottom, Tarte Lights, Camera lashes mascara.
CHEEKS: Irresistable blush, Gold MV LIPS: Tarte Charmed lip crayon.
VIDEO:
I also did a video where I talk about my favorite holiday kits from Bare Escentuals:
Since I did a look with limelight I thought I would do a look with vivid. I really like the colour of vivid but I did have some trouble foiling it. It got kind of splotchy even when I made the foiling mixture thicker. So to fix it I used a dry brush with a little bit of vivid on it to even things out. I think it worked out okay.
EYES: TFSI, wr/cr, Cultured Pearl lash to brow, Vivid dry in the crease, Vivid foiled lash to crease on outer 3/4, Sapphire in lash into crease on outer 1/3, Cupcake lash to crease on inner 1/3ish, French Navy wet lined on top, Maybelline Falsies mascara.
DH and I have been watching alot of Star Trek lately. So I asked him what colours I could use to do a Star Trek inspired look and he thought that balck with something sparkly on top would be like the sky with stars. That is basically what I did for this look. I used one of my favorite liners, Caviar, as a shadow and patted a little 2000 over it. I think I might do a few more Star Trek looks that are based on the colours of space anomalies and stuff like that. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!
EYES: TFSI, wr/cr, Spellbound under brow, Caviar lash to crease dry then foiled near the lash line and blend up, 2000 patted lash to crease on inner 2/3ish, Caviar along the lower lash line, Big & Bright eye liner pencil along upper and lower waterline, Rimmel Volume Express Blackest Black mascara.
CHEEKS: Irresistible Blush, again. LIPS: Las Vegas with Strawberry Shortcake gloss over it.
