A Teal Look

Sorry it has been a while since I've posted any looks. I have been busy with the end of the semester and trying to get everything ready for the baby.

I am hoping to get the Tarte Smoldereyes set from Sephora tomorrow and the Year of Beauty set from Bare Escentuals in the next few days. So hopefully I will be able to post some looks with both of those sets this week.

Today I decided to do a nice bright look with Buxom Stay There in Saint Bernard. In doing this look I discoverd that Max Volume (the teal from the Playlist) actually looks dark teal over saint bernard--so that was awesome.

EYES:

PTFE Brightening Pearl,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over,
Buxom Stay There Saint Bernard lash into crease,
Max Volume (R) in crease and outer corner and along lower lash line,
One Hit Wonder (R) under brow and inner corner,
Big and Bright liner in Midnight Moon upper lash line,
Falsies winged mascara.


CHEEKS: Pink Petal Blush
LIPS: Bavarian Creme lipstick

Leslie is coming to Omaha! Plus two looks

Leslie is coming to Omaha today!! She will be at the boutique from 6-8pm. I am going to see her. Hoepfully I will get to talk to her and get a picture with her. I hope there will be people there but I don't want it to be too croweded so I can talk to her. I am so excited that I will finally get to meet her!!!!

I am wearing the blue look today becuase Leslie commented on a blue look I did that I posted on Facebook. I doubt she will recognize me but I love blue and was happy to finally make a decision about what to wear. I will report back with all the details tomorrow.

Dandelion, Buxom Stay There Saint Bernard, and 17506

I really like doing colourful looks like this.

17506 in crease and outer 1/3ish,
Dandelion lash to crease on inner 1/3ish,
Lagoon wet lined on top,

Teal

So I made the mistake of blending out the Saint Bernard with Siren which is a very light blue green but when blended with the saint bernard looks kind of dark. But if I hadn't made that mistake I think this would have been pretty. Putting Lagoon with teals and green really brings out the green undertones.

50/50 mix well rested/clear radaince all over,
Siren under brow,
Buxom Stay There Saint Bernard lash into and above crease on outer 2/3ish,
Siren and Snow to blend out edges of Saint bernard,
Mistletoe lash to crease on inner 1/2ish,
Lagoon in crease and outer corner and then wet lined on top and bottom,
Falsies mascara.

Two Crazy Looks with a Video

Today I had no plan. I didn't really feel like putting on makeup or getting out of bed (why is it so hard to get up in winter?). So this look is the result of me selecting whatever appealed to me in the moment.
Update: I finally got the video for the second look to upload. I added it at the end.

EYES:
PTFE, wr/cr,
Buxom Stay There in Saint Bernard lash to crease and blended up,
MAC Reflects teal lash to crease on inner 1/2ish,
MAC Night Light in crease and above crease and outer corner,
Benefit Lust duster in Snow bunny to blend out the edges of night light and under the brow and inner corner,
KVD Gunner and another green in outer crease and 1/3 of lid,
KVD Lucifer lightly in crease and outer corner to darken and wet lined on top,
UD 24/7 liner in covet along lower lash line blended out with KVD shadows on the inner 1/2,
Falsies Black Drama mascara.

LIPS: Buxom London with Tarte Charmed tinted lip balm over it.

I spent most of Sunday working on the video for this look but youtube won't let me upload it. So I have no idea if I will ever be able to figure out what is wrong and get it uploaded. If I do I'll update the post with the video.

Buxom Stay There Saint Bernard and Shih Tzu and an old dog

Before there were the Buxom Stay There pups Bare Escentuals did a kit with eye shadows named after dogs. It had Kiko (Leslie's dog), Dakota and two others that I can't remember. So I thought it would be fun to mix one of the old dogs with the new pups.

I used the crese brush from a set of Eco Tools brushes I just got. I also used the smudge brush to apply Energy in the outer corner. I like them so far but I'll have to use them for a while longer to really get a sense of how well they work.

EYES:

Gold Mineral Veil under brow,
Buxom Stay There in Saint Bernard lash to crease on outer 1/2,
Buxom Stay There in Shih Tzu lash to crease on inner 1/2,
Dakota in crease,
Energy blended into the outer corner and wet lined on top,
Flawless definition mascara with Flawless volumizing over it.
