Since today is my birthday I decided to wear some of my favorites and some of my new stuff.

EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radince all over,
Buxom Stay There Sheepdog lash to brow,
Fearless lash into crease on outer 1/2ish,
Loli in T,
French Navy wet lined on top, Fearless dry lined on bottom,
Rimmel Mascara with Tarte mascara over it.

Big Truck

This look was inspired by a Mack Truck that was in front of me while I was driving around yesterday. It was sea green with silver trim and I thought it looked nice.

EYES:

Aquamarine in outer part of crease and outer 1/3ish,
Key Lime in middle of crease and lid,

Blues at Twilight

Do you ever notice all the shades of blue at twilight? I wish I could capture them all. But since I can’t I had to settle for creating this blue look layer by layer while listening to Camera Obscura “Biggest Bluest Hi-fi”  (great album—not a bad song on it). Today is going to be an adventure. When I went to the gym this morning the streets hadn’t been plowed so I was busting through snow banks and driving like a maniac—it was kind of fun.

EYES:

Primetime for eyes,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radaince all over,
Blush under brow,
Twilight in the crease and outer 1/3ish,
Denim blended into twilight on the outer 2/3,
Azure blended over Denim in the middle-ish,
Neptune lash to crease on the inner 1/3ish,
Marina wet lined on top, Twilight dry lined on bottom,
Tarte 4-in-1 mascara.


CHEEKS: TTYL blush
LIPS: Las Vegas Buxom with Muffin Top gloss over it.

Teal over Black

Deep Space Eyes

DH and I have been watching alot of Star Trek lately. So I asked him what colours I could use to do a Star Trek inspired look and he thought that balck with something sparkly on top would be like the sky with stars. That is basically what I did for this look. I used one of my favorite liners, Caviar, as a shadow and patted a little 2000 over it.
I think I might do a few more Star Trek looks that are based on the colours of space anomalies and stuff like that. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Caviar lash to crease dry then foiled near the lash line and blend up,
2000 patted lash to crease on inner 2/3ish,
Caviar along the lower lash line,
Big & Bright eye liner pencil along upper and lower waterline,

LIPS: Las Vegas with Strawberry Shortcake gloss over it.

The She Space: Tinkerbell Crashed

I was watching TV last night and someone was wearing a really pretty purple look and that is what inspired this look. It kind of reminds me of a MAC collection that came out last year, but I can't remember the names of the shadows in that collection (maybe shadowy lady or something like that was one of the colours?)

I think this would be a good wedding look.
You could probably get a similar look with BE by using Jolie (hugs or herbal tea), Desire or soul sister and Eclipse.

Inspiration Everywhere

This look is inspired by two of my students shoes. They were both wearing grey tennis shoes with hot pink trim. One of them was wearing a pair of pumas that were grey and the outline of the puma was in hot pink--that gave me the idea for the double lining. I get inspired by all kind of crazy things. I guess it just goes to show you that you can find an idea for a look almost anywhere.
