Sephora Sale and Bare Escentuals Preview day

Starting today April 14 2011 VIBs can use the code CHICWEEK to get 15% off at Sephora. I think there will be a code for Beauty Insiders that starts tomorrow but I'm not sure what it will be.

Today is also the Bare Escentuals preview day. They let you buy the new stuff that is coming in May for one day only. As of right now (7am) you can't get the new High Shine Colours or the new open stock colours in the 3 for $39 kit. I really hope they fix that some time today. I wanted to get a couple of the new HS colours but if I can't get them in the kit I might just wait until May.

I ordered a few things from Sephora. I got the Buxom Stay There shadow in Husky (light blue), the LORAC 3D liquid glitter (I'm really curious about this), a brow pencil and something for my sister.

50% off Rare Minerals today at Sephora

I was just poking around Sephora and noticed that all the Rare Mineral line is marked down 30%. Today is the last day of the Friends and Family sale. So if you buy the Rare Minerals today you will get 50% off, which is a great deal!!

I think the Rare Minerals line is on sale because they are changing the names of the products and the packaging. They have pre-viewed the new packaging at QVC. While I like the new packaging, especially the brush in the lid idea for Rare Minerals, I am worried that people are going to be very confused by the change. As far as I know they are just changing the packaging and the names of the products but not the formulas. I'll update this if I learn anything new.
