I get inspired by all kinds of strange things. Since it has been snowy this week I have been cooking more and so I guess it's not surprising that I would do a few food inspired looks. Today's look is inspired by last nights dinner. I made root vegetable latkes. I made them with shredded beets and carrots (and potatoes and onion). The red of the beet looked so pretty next to the bright orange carrots I decided to see if I could find some eye shadow that might capture the spirit of the vegetables. I have to go to work today so I couldn't get too crazy but I think this gets in the ball park. (It is kind of funny that most of the colours I used today have food names:)
EYES:
Primetime for eyes,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radaince all over,
Vanilla Sugar under brow,
Spiced Biscotti lash to crease,
Passion in crease,
Congac Diamond very lightly in the outer corner,
Patio Party wet lined on top,
Flawless Definition mascara with Flawless volumizing over it.

This look was inspired by a picture of a christmas tree all aglow.
I also cut my hair. I think I like it--it is very short but fluffly which is nice.

Wicked in lower crease and outer 1/3ish,
Patio party wet lined on top and outer 1/4 of lower lash line,
Falsies Black Drama (the matte one).
