My poor high shine eye shadows have been neglected so I thought I would do a look with a couple of them. I really need to work on using more of my eye shadows.

Strawberry Mousse under brow,
High Shine Electric lash into and above crease on outer 2/3,
High Shine Flash on inner 1/3 blended into electric,
Cat Woman in outer corner and lower crease,
Big and Bright liner in Black Sea lined on top and bottom,
Falsies Flared mascara.

CHEEKS: Pink Tourmaline blush with Turn On as highlight.
LIPS: Rose gloss.

A look from the Bare Escentuals Catalog

Amy from the Bare Escentuals forum pointed out this look that is in a catalog on Facebook. I didn't know what to wear yeasterday so I decided to give it a try.
This is the look with instructions on BE.com.

When I saw it I didn't think Bloom was going to be dark enough but it was. I had the midnight eye pencil but it broke in half the first time I used it and kept breaking every time I would try to sharpen it so I used Tinsel instead. Another good sub would be Sailor or French Navy.

EYES:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance,
50/50 mix well rested/clear radince all over,
Satin Ruffle under brow,
Bloom in crease and outer corner,
High Shine electric lash to crease,
Bloom blended over HS Electric in the outer corner,
Tinsel dry lined top and bottom,
Flawless Definition volumizing mascara.

CHEEKS: Love Radiance with Irresistible on the apples
LIPS: Tare Moody blotted and then Tarte Charmed over it.

A fun colourful look (yellow, blue and green) with Bare Escentuals Lagoon

A friend sent me some Snowman dance colours in a trade, so many I will be trying them for quite a while (Thanks Sandia61!!). I like to try to make bright colours wearable. This may not be right for the office but you could easily pull this off for a night out.

You could do this look with all BE pretty easily. Just use Trophy Wife or lemon zinger for the yellow, Seashell for Iridescent green, Key lime for shamrock. If you don't have Lagoon you could always use French Navy. Shamrock reminds me of MAC landscape green and 12th night reminds me of MAC Chartruse. While I'm at it you could probably use MAC golden lemon for the yellow and MAC teal in place of electric.

EYES:
PTFE, wr/cr,
Snowman Dance (SD) Iridescent green under brow,
SD Yellow sun lash to crease on inner 1/2ish,
BE High Shine Electric in crease and outer 1/4,
SD Shamrock blended into Electric,
SD 12th Night in center of lid blended with Shamrock and yellow sun,
BE Lagoon wet lined on top Electric dry lined on bottom,
Falsies mascara.

CHEEKS: Irresistable blush
LIPS: Buxom london with 7 layer cake gloss over it.

Classic Blue look

Today's look is a very common blue look. There are just some colour combinations you can't go wrong with, blue and white is one of those. Blues look great with so many other colours (greens, pinks, cremes, yelleow, brown) but if you want a simple combination that will play up the blue just pair it with any white. I picked moonstruck because it has the slightest hint of purple in it that I thought might show up when mixed with the HS Electric (I don't think it does but it still looks nice).

EYES:
TFSI, wr/cr,
Moonstruck under brow,
HS Electric lash belended into crease on outer 3/4,
Moonstruck lash to crease on inner 1/4ish,
Luxe dry lined on top and outer corner of lower lashes,
Stellitos curling mascara.

CHEEKS: TTYL
LIPS: Bavarian Creme
