Tarte Lip Service Lipsurgence Collection, a new mascara and 5 Looks

One of the things I got at the Sephora Friends and Family Sale was the Tarte Lip Service Lipsurgence Collection. This is a really great way to try the lipsurgence products. The collection is $29 for 5 very wearable colours (they usually sell for $24 each). I really like this set. I found all the colours to be wearble including Swank which I thought would just be too red for me. Swank can be a dark red if you apply multiple layers but I blotted it twice and it looks like a nice mellow cherry lip. Glitzy is a really nice sparkly neutral. On me it just enhances the colour of my lips. Perky is a medium to light pink that is similar to Charmed. Flashy is a bright pink with silver sparkle, it makes a nice bold lip and is a good alternative to red. Dazzled was the surprise in this group. I thought it was going to be peach or bright or something but it is a really nice sheer natural colour with a lot of pink in it. I think it might be my favorite from this set.

I also bought Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara. I was interested in the brush that is pear shaped. I like this mascara. It seperates your lashes well and give you natural full looking lashes. The shape of the brush makes it a little hard to manuver and I poked myself in the eye a couple of times. I think I still perefer the Falsies Flared or regular mascara if you want a good drugstore brand.
