Flirty and Fabulous, Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow Palette, and Buxom Hot Ticket

It has been forever since I posted--sorry! Between the allergies and being out of town it has been hard to take pictures etc. But I'm back now and I have quite a few new kits to play with.

I got the two new buxom kits--the eyeshadow palette with Whippet, Mutt, Terrier and Pekingese--and the Hot Ticket kit with Beagle, Buxom insider liner in Black Jasper, Dani Buxom gloss, and Buxom mascara. I haven't had a chance to try all of the colours yet so I think I will do looks with these two kits this week. I did a look with Pekingese that I am posting today. Pekingeses is a medium/dark blue with sparkle. It went on more sheer than some of my other buxom stay there colours and did crease a little on me--maybe I didn't use enough primer.

The other kit I got is Flirty and Fabulous. It has a new high shine colour in it called Mist (very pale mint green). It also has an eyeshadow called wink (this is brown with some gold sparkle but by the end of the day it looked more grey than brown--I like it!), regular prime time eyelid primer, Big and Bright in Black Diamond (I didn't open this yet), Flawless definition volumizing mascara and a charm. I like this set quite a bit. I am always happy to get useful staples like the primer and mascara. I do wish the HS colour was a little more green. I think on some skin tones it will just look white.

  3. welcome back, Becky! hope you had a good time away. question about mist and wink from F&F: how similar are these two colors to Refresh and Restore from the Naturally Luminous collection (also light green and brown eye colors)? thanks!

  4. I think mist and Refresh are different shades of green and Mist has a different texture. However when you put refresh on it look like a light white/green and so does mist--so if you are happy to have something similar then I don't think you need Mist. Wink is lighter than Restore and when mixed with the mist it really did take on a grey quality and restore is really more brown with gold. But if you use a light hand with restore you might be able to get a similar effect. I really like Naturally Luminous and I like F&F but if you can only buy a few kits this summer you might want to skip F&F and save your money for kits with different colours.

  6. Misty I'm sure the charm will show up somewhere. Maybe you could get it during one of the trade days.
