Sorry it has been a while since I've posted any looks. I have been busy with the end of the semester and trying to get everything ready for the baby.
I am hoping to get the Tarte Smoldereyes set from Sephora tomorrow and the Year of Beauty set from Bare Escentuals in the next few days. So hopefully I will be able to post some looks with both of those sets this week.
Today I decided to do a nice bright look with Buxom Stay There in Saint Bernard. In doing this look I discoverd that Max Volume (the teal from the Playlist) actually looks dark teal over saint bernard--so that was awesome.
EYES:
PTFE Brightening Pearl, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over, Buxom Stay There Saint Bernard lash into crease, Max Volume (R) in crease and outer corner and along lower lash line, One Hit Wonder (R) under brow and inner corner, Big and Bright liner in Midnight Moon upper lash line, Falsies winged mascara.
The Playlist is the second special edition holiday palette from Bare Escentuals. This palette has warmer colours than The Cocktail hour. I think I just prefer cooler colours and so I don't like this palette as much as the cocktail hour. I also think the colours in this palette are not as unique as I hoped. I really wanted this palette because of the teal Max Volume, but it really does not look teal at all on my eye. The purple also has brown undertones in it and when blended with the other colours does not look purple (alone and worn with pinks it does look purple). Overall if you like browns and other neutral earthtones you will probably like this palette quite a bit, but if you were looking for unique colours on the brighter side you could probably skip this one.
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over, One Hit Wonder under brow, Chart topper lash to crease on inner 1/3ish, Remix lash to crease on outer 2/3ish, Louder in crease, Most Requested in outer corner, Pumped dry lined top and bottom, 100% Pure Black Tea mascara.
CHEEKS: Balance Blush LIPS: French Pastry lipstick with Sprinkles gloss over it.
EYES:

CHEEKS: Rose Gold Radiance LIPS: Rose gloss

LIPS: Brooklyn Buxom with Sprinkles gloss over it.
EYES: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over, KVD First Class lash to brow, Max Volume lash into crease on outer 2/3, Big and Bright liner in Black Sea upper and lower lash line, mascara.
CHEEKS: Pink Tourmaline blush LIPS: Tarte Pouty
EYES: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over, Chart Topper lash to brow, Pumped lash into crease on outer 2/3, Louder lash to crease in center 1/3, Speaker Box dry lined top and bottom, mascara.
I got Ready Afterparty quad during the Sephora VIB sale. It is a really nice quad. I didn't think I would like the purple colour in this palette but I love it. You can do a smoky eye or something more subtle with this palette. I decided to do the night look that comes in the box and then two other looks. These shadows blend really easily so getting a nice smoky eye is effortless with this palette. The lightest colour is not quite white and looks similar to the silver, but overall this is a very nice palette.
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Cheers lash to brow, Lights Down lash into crease on outer 3/4, Mingle lash to crease on inner 1/3ish, Lights down dry lined top and bottom, FD Curl and Lengthen mascara.
CHEEKS: Pink Tourmaline blush LIPS: Las Vegas Buxom
EYES: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over, Cheers under brow,
Mingle lash to crease, Rowdy in crease, Lights Down outer corner and dry lined top and bottom, FDVM.
CHEEKS: Irresistable blush LIPS: Tarte Perky
EYES:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance, 50/50 mix well rested/clear radiance all over, Cheers under brow, Rowdy lash into crease, Lights Down outer corner and dry lined top and bottom, 100% Pure Black Tea mascara.
